Often described as a collagist, Nicolas Baier uses digital technologies to compose photographic images, bas-reliefs, sculptures, paintings, and videos that question our connections and relationships with these technologies. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University in Montreal, he has been featured in solo and group exhibitions, and his works are included in various public and private collections, including the National Gallery of Canada, the Art Gallery of Ontario, and the Swartz Art Collection at Harvard Business School.
