19 modified LCD screens, electronic, 360 x 200 x 80cm

The work features a series of different modified and upcycled LCDs. The LED lighting system, typically used to display the LCD’s visual content, is controlled by an integrated circuit that generates interference patterns only visible through a smartphone camera. Created by the phase difference between the shutter speed and the LED blinking frequency, the piece invites us to observe it through another screen, revealing the limits of both the camera and our vision. It prompts us to reconsider our relationship with technology as a mediator, thus reshaping our perception of the world.
