ELEKTRA is pleased to support the North American premiere of superposition, a performance by Japanese electronic-music composer and visual artist Ryoji Ikeda presented by the Musée d’art contemporain with the Festival du nouveau cinéma de Montréal. Offering a unique sensory experience combining sound visuals physical phenomena, mathematical concepts, human behaviour and randomness, superposition has been widely acclaimed internationally. On stage, two performers interpret a score for unconventional instruments that generates a series of video images retranscribed in real time onto a set of 21 screens assembled with the utmost precision.
