ELEKTRA ORGANIZES DIGITAL QUEBEC IN LONDON WITH MUTEK AT THE BFI.
After the successful joint festival edition EM15 in Montréal in 2014, ELEKTRA and MUTEK are teaming up to organise Digital Québec @ BFI, a major event presented under the banner of the BFI’s Sonic Cinema project. Through artistic performances, presentations and professional activities, the London public, as well as selected UK and European programmers and art professionals, will get an exciting insight into the excellence of Québec artists working in the field of digital art.
Québec artists will present audiovisual performances over two nights in the BFI’s flagship cinema (NFT1), while the International Marketplace for Digital Arts (IMDA) will showcase the artistic practice and related activities of Québec artists and organisations to an audience of selected industry professionals. Free presentations and discussions on the topic of digital creativity in Québec will also be open to the public.
