Created in 2012, The International Digital Arts Biennial (BIAN) is a major exhibition featuring vernissages and special events, which takes you on an artistic journey dedicated to digital art, by bringing together Montréal's leading contemporary creation spaces.
A wide range of activities punctuate the BIAN; vernissages of works and exhibitions, workshops with artists, talks, cultural mediation, etc. The BIAN promises no rest for fans of digital art and culture, and a complete immersion for those who want to have a first introduction to the discipline.
A second edition, took place in, 2014, dedicated to the theme of PHYSICAL/ITÉ.
The third edition will take place in 2016 under the theme AUTOMATA, art made by machines for machines.
